This town is composed of three villages of rural origin, surrounded by greenery, set on the slopes of Mount Carza, with an enviable view of Lake Maggiore from above: Trarego, Viggiona and Cheglio.
The lush woods surrounding them can be explored thanks to the numerous, well-cared for paths that guide you through an ancient world of terraces, farmsteads and mountain pastures, known in Italian respectively as "ronchi", "monti" and "alpi".
