Orta S. Giulio is a medieval center of rare beauty, picked by various directors to shoot movies and advertisements. Access to the neighbourhood is strictly by foot, amidst elegant structures from the six-seventeenhundreds with the apartments adjecent to garden near the lake. Reaching Piazza Motta, an enclosement with archways on three sides, in the shadows many little shops can be found while the terraces of the coffeehouses are near the water.

Attention is immediately captured by the strict lines of a renaissance construcion, il Palazzo della Comunità della Riviera (1582), symbol of the independent government of this community.
From the main square on walks right up to the church of Assunta built in 1485, and continuing along this road you will arive at the foot of the Sacred Mount dedicated to San Francesco (1590).

From Piazza Motta the boats depart for the island of San Giulio: legend tells that the saint conquered snakes and dragons before constructing a romanic basilica (in 390), now on this small island you can find a Benedictine Monastery.
Where worship and silence are respected, it only come sot life on the 31st of january when the patron saint is honored and the nuns distribute bread with chocolate to those present.
The structure is located in the storic center of Orta San Giulio in a typical two-storeyed lakeside construction.
Recently restructured, both apartments are located on the secondo floor without an elevator, it has a shared garden of roughly 20 m² for the guests.
Parking in the storic center not available.
Paid parking space (1 km from the apartments), the price is 5 euros a day from 31/10 to 1/03, 8 euros a day for the uncovered parking space and 10 euros a day for the covered parking space from 1/03 to 31/10.

The apartment is two-roomed and located on the second floor, without an elevator, composed by: shared garden of roughly 20 m², kitchen, master bedroom with fireplace, bathroom with shower.

The apartment can accomodate up to 3 persons:

- 1 person in the daytime area in an extra bed.
