Capital of the province since 1939, Verbania is divided in three main locations: Intra, Pallanza e Suna. Intra is the beating heart of shopping with the pedestrianised area filled with shops. From here the ferries depart for the Lombard coast and the boats towards the Borromean islands. The saturday market livens up the old alleyways and in the summertime there are many touristic events organised by the city.

The accomodation is situated in the centre of Verbania, in the immediate vicinity of the historic centre of Intra.

The apartment was furnished in 2002 is on the fifth and last floor of a block of flats built in 2000. There is a lift suitable for the disabled.

At a distance of about 200 m is an equipped beach which can be used in July and August.

The area is very quiet, even if it is situated in centre of town.
