Stresa Pescatori:
Isola dei Pescatori (Fishermen’ island) is the only island of the Borromean Islands to be inhabited throughout the year.
The island is about 3,5 square kilometres and lodges a little village with typical lake houses with a square, characteristic narrow alleyways, lake-front and main street, which allow just to walk. The island has been inhabited for at least 700 years and there is only one church, which is dedicated to San Vittore and a arbored belvedere on the opposite side of the island.
The accommodation is a two-room unit set on the first floor of a typical island building, with a very characteristic arch that you will see in all of the photos depicting Isola Pescatori.
This accommodation is suitable for those wishing to enjoy a slightly different type of holiday and experience life in the past, because life on Isola Pescatori is much the same as it was 700 years ago.
Isola Pescatori has a small grocery shop, a bookshop and many bars and restaurants open all year round.
The Accommodation is a two room apartment on the first floor of about 55m ² and consists of:
living room with sofa bed for 2 people, little kitchen, bathroom with shower, bedroom with single beds.
In the apartment can sleep up to 2 people :
